Ya'll missed the world's best talent show tonight. Seriously, funniest thing I've ever seen. We had about 15 acts-anywhere from reading stories, to presenting pictures, to dance numbers, songs, and songs and dance! We began the night with a little ice cream social, where the girls came in and had chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, cherries and sprinkles. let's just say they were in heaven! (i'm sure the Tias appreciated the sugar rush we put them on too!) After they all got their ice cream and scarfed it down in a matter of seconds, we began the talent show! Two of the girls, Mishell and Viki MC'd the show, and were hilarious. They set up stage hands and a personal DJ. We watched all the acts, as each house and some individual girls performed for us. After about 12 acts, they called us up on stage. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! Our dance number was perfect, and the girls just loved it! We got a standing ovation. I'm sad to say that the video taken of us was interrupted by Sylvia's face when Maribel moved things around on the screen. It was a sad sad day. But-we had so so much fun doing it! Maybe we should cheoreograph a dance every week??
This weekend we're going to the lake for the weekend. SO pumped! We're really hoping that the weather will be really nice and sunny so that we can get our brrrronze on!
